2.8 Ha holdings in Cotta vineyard, 55-year-old vines, Neive. Cotta is located on the border of Neive and Barbaresco, consequently the wine has some tendencies of both communes. More color and power like Neive with some elegant and fine tannin like Barbaresco. Soil is Tortonian with more clay. Fermented on the skins for 24 days, natural yeasts, malolactic occurs naturally in French oak, 25% new with the rest seasoned with four years of use. The wine spends 18 to 20 months in wood. Production: 10,000 bottles.
