E. Pira Langhe Nebbiolo

  • Vineyard: Ravera in Monforte d’Alba. It is a young vineyard which will later produce Barolo wines.

  • Varietal: Nebbiolo 100% - A blend of the common Nebbiolo clones Michet and Lampia, but 20% is Nebbiolo Rose which offers great aroma and body

  • Soil: Calcareous clay soil.

  • Altitude: 1,300 ft. /400 mt.

  • Vinification: Fermented on the skins for 10 days.

  • Aging: 4th passage French oak barriques for 12 months. The wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined.
