Trinoro Campo di Magnacosta

  • Varietals: 100% Cabernet Franc

  • Vineyards: 1.5-hectare parcel on the valley’s bottom at 450 meters a.s.l., where an old stream ate into a hill. It was planted over 20 years ago with cuttings from a vineyard in Pomerol where Cabernet Franc has grown for three centuries.

  • Soils: River gravel and silt

  • Winemaking: Fermentation in steel vats for 12 days. Aged for 8 months in new French oak barrels; 11 months in cement tanks.
